Hi Brian,
I’ve cleaned the exhaust again and rebuild it as close as the original one (with proper cover and pipe).
It’s much quieter now.
Also, I’ve put 3% fuel/oil mixture in, and drove it for a 15 minutes or so and haven’t got any problems.
Anyway, I plan to replace the condenser as soon as I make the puller.
I didn’t find condenser that will fit inside the metal box of the old one, but I think that I can fit it below the rotor anyway.
The one I’ve found is in the attached picture.
It’s metalized film non polarized, but it’s not round shape but rectangular encased in plastic cover. I think it’s fine!?
I’ll keep you informed about the progress.
Also, finally these days I’ll make few pictures of the Solex as a whole, and post them here.
