My buddy just scored a cherry ‘78 MKII Sport in Sacramento with 800 miles on the odo. Very clean.

However:

A. It is slow leaking tranny fluid.
B. Want to tighten the case bolts.
C. Don’t have a repair manual yet.
D. I work on scooters.
E. I want to pull off the housing, pull off the flywheel, mark the stator (are their permanent marks?), remove the stator and access the case bolts?
F. What is the best way to hold the hold the flywheel when removing the flywheel nut?
G. Any recommendations on mechanics in the area who know their shit?

ALSO

A. This moped is bone stock. Can I expect a restriction washer in the exhaust? And, how should I remove it if so. Seems to only pull 25 at WOT. Need to rejet or just adjust the carb?

Thanks,

JN
