I wouldn’t use chemdip. Just take it fully apart and clean everything. Use spray carb cleaner. Run a small wire thru every orifice and then use spray carb cleaner again.

Have you pulled the petcock to see if the internal screens are plugged up? And have you tried running it with a loostened
gas cap? Everything sounds like fuel starvation to me.

If it was an electrical problem I do not think that changing the plug would cure the situation.
