trouble disassembling moby variator

how the hell do i get the 35mm lock nut off the variator? it’s reverse threaded, yes? i’ve got the “dismantling tool” and all that business, but that thing is on there SO HARD it just twists my vice off the workbench (i have a clamp-on not bolt-on one – i aint got nothing to bolt it to) instead of coming off. YO i need helps all sorts of bad on this one – what did you do to get this thing off?!
