I use Spectro Golden Gear Lube Transmission/wet clutch SAE 80, from Heeters. I did use some ATF A (or was it F?), but got the good stuff that the happy people here recommended. It does seem to work better. 10 oz. to fill.

I don’t know how old your rig is, but I recommend filling /running and dumping a few times to flush out any funky monkeys that may have worn off of the gears/clutch pads and other doomaflochies in there.

I also recommend finding a large (2oz) plastic syringe to help with filling. Tomos could’ve designed a bigger fill plug into the tranny, but we’re stuck with that. The syringe will save you in fluid, mess and countless explenatives.

The syringe works well for mixing oil with gas on the road.
