what is the drive shaft as opposed to and output shaft? the goal was to get to bare case halves to them powdercoat them black, but it is looking like it might just be better to clean and polish them without taking everything so far apart. i dont want to dirty bearing with blasting media or ruin seals by leaving them in while powder bakes to cure at 400 + deg.
