hobbit repairman needed in brooklyn

Hi,
I’ve recently purchased a 1979 Honda Hobbit, my first moped. It runs ok, but not as fast as it should, has trouble starting, sometimes dies while idling, etc…
I think it probably needs the carb cleaned, and a general going-over.
Is there someone in the Brooklyn area interested in doing this kind of work? I’ve got outdoor space to work in if the day is nice, or I could bring it to you if it’s not too far (I live Kensington).
Willing to pay what it’s worth for your time, and hopefully you can give me a little intro to basic moped maintenance as well.
