newer tomos lx too hott.wont idle

my newer tomos lx just got 300 miles on it…and drove around for a while with a header exhaust leak..like pretty bad..(really loud)...then it seemed when i put the exhaust back on right and drove it it lost some low end, and was running a little hot…i then messed with the idle screws a little and it idle better, but no increase or change in performance…i added some octane booster to the gas, and now it wonttt idle and is runnin bout the same temp..still hott..it wont idle unless the chokes on no matter how i adjust it
