Looking good so far.
Removing the seals is pretty tricky without the proper tools. Screwdrivers will cause bending and binding and possible damage to the inner seal. Your best bet is to work from the back side of the seal with a large socket, one that will fit inside the cup of the seal. Then, slowly and evenly tap the socket with a hammer to evenly push out the seal. Once you get the seal out it’s a good idea to go to your local bearing/seal shop and get some replacements.
No sense in rebuilding a motor if you’re going to put old seals back in. IMHO.
