New Tires

Hello.. I’m new to this website. I have a Garelli super sport LTD moped 1979, and I’m looking to buy new tires. The old ones are cracked and worn. The owners manual says I need tires sized 2×17. But I’m not seeing any available. Will 2.50×17 also work??
