its a Puch newport 1978 with a lot of parts from a puch maxi 1974
When its on the stand and I rev the engine, it seems like everything is fine. Except for the fact that its a little unresponsive to my turning of the throttle. Its like I’ll do it and then it will respond. And even so its like I got lucky if it starts going full throttle. I don’t know whether to blame the slide or the wire.
When I put it on the ground its a different story. If I held it in place it would never move.. in fact itll only move if i move it and press the throttle. When I pull the throttle all the way itll die.
If i ride it down a hill and pull the throttle its pretty happy but no way is it going up hill. Same deal with the throttle in full swing, I’ll be lucky if it decides to listen to me without dying.
Oh yeah… then it smokes at the end.
