Ok, so heres what i did. Took the petcock off and cleaned it. Took it for a spin still had the heistation… so i came back took of the filter and box and she ran perfect!!! Only thing is now i have to figure out the best solution for that. Yamahopper suggested a k&n filter. Went to their site and cannot figure out which one would work best for the bike. Need a hand on this one. Also i’ve read that some people drilled holes in the stock filter box. Would this help me achieve the same thing? If so would i just drill directly in the back? Thanks again for all your help.
