Many small things mounted up to make me think I needed a new engine .. but one by one little things were solved, like: correct spark plug gap, sealing the bottom cylinder gasket and allowing to cure properly, cleaning fuel filter and washing the gas tank, replacing the spark plug cable and hood, cleaning all parts of the exhaust and exhaust port, new gasoline after I got a bad batch, tightening nuts and screws,
cleaning old gasket goo from the carb’s bowl contact surfaces, cleaning the carb really well, etc. Now the bike is running almost like new.
