legend has it, removing the tranny cover is not a good idea. you need to replace the gasket of exact specifications, and torque the cover back on to specs. that would let you get the chunks of plastic back out, but you’d need to be prepared to locate a gasket and look up the torque specs.

i believe the gasket is .5mm thick. dont even come close to quoting me on that.
