If you take the pipe off (the nut that holds it to the cylinder and then a bolt that holds the back of the pipe) and pull the baffle from the back end (2 10mm nuts) you can get in there and clean all of the carbon buildup/ Might give you a little more umph right. You should also try to re torque your head bolts and see if they have worked themselves loose.
