Why would it not run the same in reserve as it does with fuel drawing from the top? That is odd. Have you cleaned the tank? You may just have some junk in the filter on the petcock? Reserve fuel just draws from the bottom of the tank, it should not affect performance unless there is a problem with the vale or strainer. Never seen a QT up close so I am just making an edjucated guess. Mike
