something thats always bothered me but i never figured out: every now and then i’ll have a ped that has perfect throttle recoil. i take the carb top off to adjust the jet needle or for some reason or another, put it all back together, and i dont have throttle recoil anymore. happened two or three times before.

now, usually i dont give a shit. ive kinda gotten to like cruise control, and its not enough of a problem for me to have really felt like investigating. but it happened to my friend’s magnum the other day and he doesnt like cruise control.

why the hell does this happen? removing and replacing the carb top is a square peg, square hole operation. There is only one way it can go together. its not like something could be out of order, otherwise the carb wouldnt work/wouldnt go together. needless to say i keep grit and dirt and shit out of my throttle assy. so what gives!?
