Yeah, thats pretty much it; it’s a fairly simple operation, just maybe a little intimidating if youre not super comfortable opening up top ends. You’ll be fine, though. I’d not worry about cleaning other than wiping off the oil and making sure theres no traces of gasket on the head or cylinder (assuming it’s a fibre or paper gasket.
