What am i missing (no spark)

I’ve found myself scratching my head after a condenser failure (classic – can ride for 10 minutes, then dies type of deal)
So i was graciously given a Nova coil to run instead.
Now i have ZERO spark. I’m not sure if I need to start trouble shooting something else or what. Ignition systems have forever been a weakness of mine (except for timing).
So, here’s a graphic of the original setup (Sachs 504 w. Bosch)

Fairly straight forward. The Condenser is the threaded style, so the points and ignition coil bolted down, along with the line to the HT Coil.
So, here’s what I ended up doing. I don’t like running an external condenser, just because it doesn’t look good (hey, its a foxi) but it’ll work for now. I put things together with minimal destruction so that I might be able to more easily revert back to the internal threaded condensor someday.

All three lines that used to run to the threaded condenser have been soldered together. I bolted the Nova condenser to a good ground point and clamped it in with the blue line that used to come from the internal condenser
But now I’ve got nothing. No spark at all. The points are opening as they should, ignition coil wasn’t moved so it should still be supplying power… I did thoroughly tape my solder work, so its not grounding out… Tried a couple different sparkplugs…
just at a loss i guess….
This is the type of reason why i’ve not touched the bike in a few months…
