How do I get to the ignition points?

It’s a Sachs 504 A on a Foxi GT. There is a bowl-shaped chrome cover on the right side of the case, above which the wires come out. The cover has no screws that I can see, but it sort of has a tab on top and bottom. I can see where someone has pried at the cover, but I don’t want to damage it further. I need to clean the points and adjust the gap and timing, if I can get into it. Thanks in advance!
