E50 tranny noise, most likely cause?

Alright, so I rebuilt my E50. I had the shop manual at hand and paid particular attention to reassembling the clutch side of the crank. I bought a new roller bearing crank and 3 shoe clutch for this. When back together, I am getting a whirring transmission noise and what sounds like a ringing bell noise. It is a distinct possibility I did not assemble the clutch side properly, so I am going to pull that apart tonight to see where I possibly screwed up. Are there any pitfalls people have fallen into while rebuilding their E50 that I should watch out for? Maybe one that I did fall into and should double-check on? Thanks in advance!
