swamped mopeds

hey everyone new to the forum.
i am going to try to save my teenage passions if they happen to be left where they were abandoned 4 long years ago. if successfull, i will have three yamahas to work with to make one good one. the problem: they were thrown into a wooded swamp area im wondering if these things will have any hope at all or if anyone has ever gotten a deal or fixed one with similer circumstance. feel free to laugh because the biggest reason im going to try to get one running is because someone said i could’nt. oh and the three mopeds consist of late 80’s a razz, a jog, and a zuma. if i remember right i took the head and cylinder from the jog and put it on the razz due to a drivetrain malfunction. it worked good for awhile until i stripped out the kick starter and the electric starter.
im planning on dissassembling and cleaning all the motor parts and applying wd-40 all over everything before reassembling. any suggestions?
