Yamaha QT50 Wrist Pin Question

I have an 84 Yamaha QT,and I have reason to believe from the noise I’m hearing from the engine that I have a bad piston wrist pin. I pulled the cylinder/piston/wrist pin and bearing, and the pin has a bluish tint on either side of where the bearing sits on it. Are there any visual indicators to tell me the wrist pin and bearing are bad?
