my express has 9960 miles on it and no problems, so 2000 is definitely not high for an express. in fact, of all the expresses ive seen, id say 2000 is pretty LOW.

really, theres not much you need to do on these if you ride them regularly. yeah, you can de-carbonize the head and the exhaust but it wont do a whole lot to be honest with you. you should change the transmission oil, yes. i just use 10W30. it doesnt really matter a whole lot, all youre doing is lubricating and hondas are not picky.

as far as everyday maintence, just normal stuff. check the gas, check the oil, make sure your battery isnt dead.

expresses are reeeeally easy to maintain and they will last forever even with the most minimal maintenence.
