a55 vibration and speedo problem

I got a 2008 tomos st (red) Tuesday and I found something that worried me while riding. When topped out the engine with made a dull humming sound with vibration. When I was going from my crib I looked at my speedo and saw that it jumped up to 30mph then it came back down to 25 (which was the speed I was traveling). It has about 25 miles on it now and I was wondering if this would be a thing that would dissapeir when I have more miles on ‘er.
