I’ve got no idea on the wiring. Trial and error perhaps?

As for the circlip, I’m not sure of the exact size, but I can give you a range for the one-speed. If the two-speed is different, then just ignore me. I replaced mine a while back, and I bought two different sizes to see what worked best. Naturally, I only saved one package—it says 11/16 inches on it. I would like to think that I would have been smart enough to only save the package that had the right size on it, but I don’t remember. So my best guess is either 11/16 or one size up or down from that.
