My mobotbecane still won't start!

Hello, so yeah I just bought a my first moped (motobecane 50v). It was currently not running, so I figured I’d clean the carb, change the wiring, clean the spark plug, and basically clean up the engine. everything is still there, it’s just still stock. The guy had it sitting in the barn for a long time, and now that everything is there its just not starting. When I start to pedal the engine is getting gas, and then the engine, exhaust, carb all start to move. Like the piston is going up and down, it seems like its not getting a spark. Is it the Novi coil or the ignition? Thanks
