puch 2 speed clutch cable?

How does the 2 speed clutch cable setup work? Where can I get a new cable?

The cable I have is frayed and broken pretty bad where it goes into the lever, only about 3 or 4 strands left.

How do I replace this, and where do I find the part? All online that I find say 1 speed clutch cable
