Blinkers doing wierd things on Tomos

Hello, I am having some trouble with my blinkers on my Tomos LX 2005. They are rotating between not turning on at all, and when I try they cause power loss to my make, and other times they will come on and blink slowly, also causing power loss to my bike. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks.
