Re: PA50 does about 22, is it governed?

I don’t think 7,000 is all that bad on a ped, especially a Honda, Clean carb and if that does not help remove exhaust and clean port and pipe, replace crush gasket if it is preasent, they are on e-bay. You could do a compression test first if you think comp is bad…I have never touched the decomp on my Pa_50II ever, and I have owned it since 1997..my 2 cents worth.
