you need to yank the cylinder off and find out exactly where it broke. If you are lucky it’s abouve teh base adn you can just grab it with pliers or vice grips and unscrew it.

If you are not so lucky and it’s still in the bottom end you may need a screw extractor and a reversible drill with variable speed.
