dude, get that carb out and APART, that’s your problem. If you do break something, you can find a replacement, probably. Don’t run it on your choke all the time, that’s a bad call. I’ve been told that if you do you’ll mess up your spark plug and maybe worse.
Get that carb apart, get a wire like from something electrical, or even better there are carb cleaning wires that you can get with different size and stick that shit inside all the little holes in your carb.
Once that carb is cleaned, like out, apart and cleaned clean. You’ll be in a better place.
And when I say cleaned, I mean cleaned. I had to clean mine like ninety times and looks like I have to do it again.
Your shit won’t run right until you do that. Don’t mess with the exhaust until you’re positive your carb is clean. And when I say take it apart, take EVERYTHING apart. There are jets inside of jets, and behind jets, take those jets out, clean that shit and then clean the other shit on top of it. Clean it.
And if you’re smarter than me, you’ll take off your tank and empty it into a container where you can see just how messy your fuel is and then you’d rinse your tank of all the gunk that’s in it. If you’re feeling super adventurous you’d buy a POR15 kit and de-rustify everything about that tank. And take off the petcock and make sure it doesn’t have any gunk in it. So then your carb will not only be clean but it’ll STAY clean.
Stop running with your choke on.
