(more) Peugeot electrical problems....

Having the same problem. Peugeot dies after four-five miles. Every mechanical part of the bike is fine, cleaned everything. Dellorto 15/15, new reeds, clean exhaust, clean cylinder/piston, no air leaks all check.

Recently replaced condenser, cut brake light cables, removed rectifier, all to minimize complications, whcih I was having with the break lights. It’s running great until about four miles, then it’s dead——although it still sparks if I put the plug against the engine. Is the last possibility a weak ignition coil?
