Re: PA50 does about 22, is it governed?

I was thinking there might be something up with the belt, as a second or so after I stop to idle I hear a pretty distinct belt rubbing noise. Not the screech you hear sometimes when its wet, but just kind of a scrapping sound. Oh, and as far the the compression check goes, would I be better off just buying one of those 70cc kits? or do u thunk the old girl couldn’t take it. 7000 is a lot of miles after all.
