St. Louis Mechanic?

I have two pedal start mopeds both from around the late 70’s to early 80’s. One is a puch and the other is a gaddabout. Both of them run but neither one of them idle. Also, they both bog down pretty badly when going uphill.

I have been advised by other members of the moped army to do some modifications that would fix these problems. They have said that all “stock” mopeds run like this.

Is there anyone in the St. Louis area that knows what I need for these to run better and would be willing to do some work on them?

I’m kind of looking for someone to get the work finished relatively quickly because I dont want to be without my mopeds for that long.
