you know you can pretty reliably check for head gasket leaks by taking a small flashlight and shining it between the head and cylinder all around inspecting for any black dripping stuff, its quite obvious especially if ur bike won’t start. not disassembly needed.
also make sure your intake is not really lose, massive air leaks on the intake side will have the same effect.
Since the motor is freshly rebuilt it should be clean, look all around it for any sludgy build up. the seals can be checked by removing the variator and stator. check to make sure the cases are together correctly and there is no leak occurring between the halves. Like I said b4 a leak large enough to prevent the motor from starting will be very obvious and have alot of black goo around it.
Check for the decomp leaking as well.
make the spark plug gap really small too.
