magura controls on motobecane?

Hi, Im looking to replace my motobecane controls with something new, I was wondering if The Magura controls from 1977 that say they are for puch would work. Would i run into any compatability issues when mounting new brake/throttle/decompression cables, either on the controls end or brake/throttle/decomp ends? What issues would I run into regarding this kind of work? I don’t know how these kinds of things cross over between mopeds. Any general/specific help would be appreciated. P.s Im also about to rig up a pull choke dellorto carb. Thanks!
