Mopeds running well should not sputter unless the compression is down. How was the humidity index? My moped misfires in high humidity, much less misfiring in low humidity .. I’ve ordered new plug cable and cable components. Also, keep your muffler and exhaust port as clean as possible as back pressure on the exhaust port will cause misfires. Clean with gasoline or carb cleaner.
