Potentially problematic :) I took the old points out, and i noticed something that was too hard to see when they were in the flywheel. These points are clearly not happy. It took me forever to line up this shot,
Its clear the “right” half in that picture is way pitted. In this picture, you can see that the points are only making contact at their respective, shitty pitted sections. I Knew they were a bit pitted, but i didnt know they were only making contact at their shitty sections.
That clearly shows they are closing unevenly.
Im gonna put the new ones in now and try em out tommorow. I just hope this is enough to create the symptoms im experiencing, and that this is all i have to deal with.
