Carb Question

Hey,
On my 1980 express nc50, whenever I turn the fuel on the fuel drains straight through the carb. I’ve read that this is usually caused by the float sticking and to fix it by tapping on the float bowl. I ended up having to take the carb apart and clean it, but it was very clean already.

My problem subsided for about a week, but started again tonight. I cleaned the carb again and the fuel still drains straight out.

Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
