yea the decomp is defintely closing, good idea though. I havent actually run a compression test, no, but I should go get a gauge. It does blow my finger out though, which has always been good enough. And i just rebuilt the engine, and trust my work fairly well.. all the gaskets are new so that should help.

if worse comes to worse, i have another bottom end I was gonna rebuild anyways for a stock moby… maybe i’ll get on that now and use it for this top end. I think my work was pretty solid but it was my first rebuild, so the second try is always better.

the stator is sitting on my lap right now and im putting on the new points. i hope that will help.
