hey, my recent purchase of a bat, has been fun so far, but she seems even more underpowered then people says bats are… was going to clean out the exhaust but wasn’t really sure of the best way… i see the threaded end coming out of the back and i see a nut deeper in there but, i don’t have a socket deep enough to reach, is that what i need to do? remove that nut to get at the guts?

i totally gutted the carb and cleaned it well, it’s leaking a bit of gas but i think the float top gasket is bad and i have another one ordered (mopedjunkyard). de rusted the gas tank as best i could, couldn’t believe the CHUNKS of old rusty gas that i got out… i repainted the tank with some gloss auto paint, but didn’t think of the reaction spilled gas would have on it, anyone know what spray paints are resistive to gas?

thanks folks
