search “gutner help” in this forum (I know I spelled it wrong when I made the thread) there is some discussion on there from when I was struggling with my carb – there are a few pics of my setup and a photo album of another guys setup. There are two different ways that choke cable can be worked so check that out. Is your choke cable sheath still on the bike? that should give you a clue as to whether it goes into the bottom or the top.
You may be missing a couple little pieces if that cable is gone but they shouldn’t be to hard to fabricate – see the photos
