The brake light works when I apply either brake lever, however the tail light does not work. From the tail light not working along with the headlight previously not working, the light switch seems to be atleast part of the problem. But atleast if I ride during the daytime now, I am legal, having a working brake light and daytime running headlight so to speak (required in NY). And, yes, I did replace both bulbs in the tail lense to make sure that wasn’t the problem. I don’t think the horns on most mopeds are worth a damn anyway, the just give a little beep anyway, not strong enough to be worth using. However, I do recall in the 80’s having a ‘77 Puch moped and if I tried the horn with the engine revved up it actually was louder, similar to a car’s horn. But at idle, these horns seem to be useless unless one has a moped with a battery and turn signals.
