Tire goes.... POP

So I may have put to much air in my puch maxi. the tires were already pretty worn from what my eyes could tell but the front one just totally broke off the rim and the tube popped. I gotta replace them… best place to get tires? Ive called around all the local bike shops and tire shops but no one seems to make 17×2.25 anymore? i found one place pretty far who has them for 25$ each is that to expensive? if i end up gettin the tire are they hard to replace? thanks so much
