Avanti / Garelli VIP manual / parts source?

I just bought an Avanti “Autopower” moped from 2000. It was cheap and titled, but the engine is just a box full of parts. I need some good exploded diagrams and a source of parts. I have heard that the Avanti mopeds use Garelli engines, but mine isn’t the same as the engines listed on http://www.themopedjunkyard.com. I think mine is the “VIP” engine. Does anyone know where I can get information about this engine?
