This is so important I’m repeating the topic here in repair.

My paper booklet received with my tomos reads .5 mm spark gap .. but today I saw tomos online repair manual says .8 mm – so because I’ve had much trouble the last few months I changed my gap to .8 and Lo and Behold – great improvement! I had been misfiring at low and high revs .. and of course a stroke unfired means oil in the head and exhaust .. and that means more misfires, more oil, the cycle ends at stall. Improvement is good at low revs, and excellent at high. Thank you Thank you Thank you whoever it was who provided me the url for the online manuals .. I wish I could remember who. I think I had the gap right during my trip, but changed it to .5 when I did some work late last fall.
