Moby engagement switch is a bitch...any tips?

I’ve been trying all afternoon to get the engagement switch on my moby to engage. I keep trying combinations of elbow grease and rotating the back tire in reverse, but that MFer just won’t budge. I type this with greasy fingers and a spent temper. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
