BIG BORE VS. STOCK

Got a low mileage qt and just scored the cylinder and need new piston and rings, debating going with the 60 kit, I ride it 40 miles a day and need speed and tend to run wide open the whole way, is the 60 kit going to let me go faster and still be reliable?I put a uni filter on my scoot right before it blew did this have something to do with it, i set the air screw pretty much all the way in, dont know enough about how hot they normaly run. I was told by someone never to run it a long way wide open, I think I learned my lesson.
