Yeah sounds like mine. So there should be a cable coming out of the top of your carb in the middle that goes into a large diameter shaft – this is the throttle. it should move a slide and have a spring etc. Then you should have another cable, it goes through a smaller diameter shaft on the carb and may either exit from the top or the bottom depending on the setup. Mine leaves from the bottom and then goes up through the sheath to the handle bars. A bike cable with a metal nub will work for this, just pull the old stuff out, and run new cable up through – if you have the old sheath still there I would just thread it through that. When your done just make sure there isnt play in the cables and that all the slides move properly.
